Fall 2023 Service Calendar & Hours of Operation


Service Calendar:


The Fall 2023 Service Calendar outlines all of ECU Transit’s service exceptions and other noteworthy dates for a given semester. Service exceptions are planned ahead of time and occur whenever service is modified or canceled for a given date. This is typically due to holidays, breaks, or other scenarios which affect the academic calendar. Normal service is planned unless otherwise noted.

Fall 2023 Service Calendar
August 16th – 18th (Wednesday-Friday) Move-In service for Fall 2023 begins
Weekend service begins.
August 21st (Monday)Weekday service for Fall 2023 begins
September 4th (Monday)Labor Day
Weekend service schedule operates
October 6th (Friday)Fall Break begins
All Transit services end at 7:00PM
October 7th – 8th (Saturday-Sunday)Fall Break
No service will operate
October 9th (Monday)Fall Break
On Demand & Pirate Access will operate 7:00AM-6:00PM
October 10th (Tuesday)Fall Break
On Demand & Pirate Access will operate as normal.
Weekend service schedule operates
November 21st (Tuesday)All services will end at 7:00PM for Thanksgiving Break
November 22nd (Wednesday)Thanksgiving Break
On Demand & Pirate Access will operate 7:00AM-6:00PM.
November 23rd - 24th (Thursday-Friday)Thanksgiving Break
No service will operate
November 26th (Sunday)Weekend service resumes
Weekday service will resume on Monday the 27th
December 5th (Tuesday)Reading Day
Friday service schedule operates
December 13th (Wednesday)Last day of Fall 2023 Semester
All services will end at 7:00PM
