Spring 2024 Service Calendar & Hours of Operation
Service Calendar:
The Spring 2024 Service Calendar outlines all of ECU Transit’s service exceptions and other noteworthy dates for a given semester. Service exceptions are planned ahead of time and occur whenever service is modified or canceled for a given date. This is typically due to holidays, breaks, or other scenarios which affect the academic calendar. Normal service is planned unless otherwise noted.

| September 2, Monday | State Holiday – Weekend level service operates |
| October 4, Friday | Fall Break Begins – All service ends at 6:00PM |
| October 5 – 6, Saturday - Sunday | Fall Break – No service will operate |
| October 7, Monday | Fall Break – On-Demand/SafeRide operates 7:00AM-6:00PM |
| October 8, Tuesday | Fall Break – On-Demand/SafeRide operates 7:00AM-1:00AM; – 301 Gold operates 10:00AM-1:00AM |
| October 9, Wednesday | Fall Break Ends – All services resume normal schedule. |
| November 7, Thursday | Thursday Night Football Game – All Bus Service ends at 5:00PM; – On-Demand operates normal schedule with limited-service area. |
| November 26, Tuesday | Thanksgiving Break Begins – All Service Ends at 6:00PM |
| November 27, Wednesday | Thanksgiving Break – On-Demand/SafeRide will operate 7:00AM-6:00PM |
| November 27 – 30, Wednesday - Saturday | Thanksgiving Break – No service will operate |
| December 1, Sunday | Regular service schedule resumes. |
| December 3, Tuesday | Reading Day – Normal schedule operates |
| December 11, Wednesday | Last day of Fall Semester – All service ends at 6:00PM |
| December 12 – 13, Thursday - Friday | On-Demand Service available 7:00AM-6:00PM – Service area may be limited during commencement. |
| December 16 – 20, Monday - Friday | On-Demand Service available 7:00AM-6:00PM |
